121. question about creating a blueprint from *scratch* - in Science and Industry [original thread]
You start with a BPC for Dual Beam Laser I. The ME and TE don't matter, and the number of runs is how many invention jobs you can run off it. Take it to a station with research services. Look at the BPC's properties and buy the required data cores...

123. I think I just screwed up. - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Unanchoring an array cancels all jobs running in it. All input materials are lost and no products returned. If any of the blueprints were copies, then runs will have been deducted from them

128. Setting up a Research POS - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Seriously if it's just you (one char) using it, it's not worth it. A small POS costs around 100 mil a month. Unless you're making over 100 mil *extra* profit because of using the POS, it's a net loss

Maybe. Blueprints have different skills required to research than to manufactuer. Right click on it in the market -> use in industry. Change to the type of research you want to do on it and check the skill requirements

The 10 jobs is a character limit, imposed by your skills. It has no relation to where you research. Probably best just to research in station these days. With the station research slots gone, there's no longer a compelling reason to have a POS fo...

133. Just to confirm... - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Cap components sell fairly slowly. Firstly because anyone who can build a cap can build the components, second because the components are huge and hauling them from the trade hub out to lowsec is harder than hauling compressed ores out.

Check the location that the indy screen is looking for the items. Drop-down top-right of the indy window. Every time I've seen a 'missing items' thread, that's been the cause.

Maths has been toast on that window for over a year. Last I heard, it didn't take the implant into consideration for the maths, but did for the actual reprocessing.
